The market
What contractors in Seattle & the Puget Sound are up against
Two things shape demand here more than anywhere else we work. The first is water: months of rain, moss on roofs and lawns, and side sewers that Seattle homeowners own all the way to the main under the street. The second is heat. The June 2021 heat dome pushed Seattle to 108 degrees in a state where only about half of homes used any air conditioning, and heat pumps have been the answer for many households since.
Washington also polices contractor advertising. Ads that show your name or address must show your current L&I registration number, and there are specific rules about what you can and cannot claim. We build profiles and pages that follow those rules before we spend on ads.
Clearline Sewer Repair, a family-owned Seattle sewer and drain company, grew Google Business Profile views from 725 in late 2022 to 15,571 in 2025 with RTM managing the profile.

What we run
Advanced LSA Max first, then the channels around it
Local Services Ads put a contractor at the top of Google with the Google Verified badge, and the Google Business Profile is where those ads draw reviews and business details from. That is why the profile, the directories and call tracking are part of the package rather than add-ons.
- Advanced LSA Max
Local Services Ads and Performance Max, Google Business Profile management, directory set-up and call tracking with ROAS, run as one system.
Starts at $2,199/month plus ad spend.

- AI search visibility

- Content development

Questions
Contractor marketing in Seattle & the Puget Sound, answered
- Does Real Time Marketing work with contractors in Seattle and the Puget Sound?
- Yes. We manage Local Services Ads, Google Business Profiles, SEO and AI search visibility for home service contractors in Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Tacoma and Kent. We are based in Bradenton, Florida, and we already manage the Google Business Profile for a Seattle sewer and drain company.
- Do Washington contractors have to show their registration number in ads?
- Yes. Washington law requires advertising that shows a contractor's name or address to show the current L&I registration number, and materials used to solicit homeowners must show it too. We add your number to your website, profiles and ad assets before campaigns launch.
- How should a Puget Sound contractor set a Local Services Ads service area?
- Around drive time, not distance. Traffic between Everett, Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma can turn a short distance into a long trip, and Google states that regularly failing to answer calls or messages may affect your ad ranking. We draw service areas by ZIP code around the neighborhoods your crews reach quickly.
- How did the 2021 heat dome change contractor marketing in Seattle?
- It turned cooling into a real need in a city that rarely had it. After Seattle reached 108 degrees, many homeowners started looking for heat pumps and ductless systems that also replace oil, gas or baseboard heat, which created steady work for HVAC contractors and electricians.
- What does Advanced LSA Max include for a Seattle contractor?
- Advanced LSA Max combines local directory set-up and Google Business Profile optimization, ongoing Google Business Profile management, Local Services Ads plus Performance Max management, and lead call tracking with ROAS. In the Puget Sound we tune it around L&I advertising rules, utility rebates and the region's wet-weather and heat-driven demand.
